EB01: Action Movies, Investment tips and word association

In our first ever Enlightened Bros Podcast, we really unleashed some real enlightenment on you all. We opened in the first minute talking about fart jokes, Family Guy and the first joke ever told. We then talked about our top 5 Action Movies, and with nearly no prep, I think I definitely nailed it. I had to cheat and picked a Star Wars movie as my #1 action movie. Deal with it.

I then surprised Dustin and asked him on the spot to come up with bullet-proof investment advice to Enlightened Bros and Sisters across this land. Although it was a sneak attack, he did a great job listing some practical advice to get your investment game in order. Because, jeez, what on earth have you been doing with that 401k for the last five years? Gross. (I'm talking to myself here more than anything...)

Then we launched into some real serious Mensa mind game stuff and did some basic word association. It slowly devolved into baloney wagons and blankets, so... you're welcome.

This is, without a doubt, the best Enlightened Bros Podcast episode in the history of earth.

Hello World!

Uhg, what a cliche title for a first post.

If you're not familiar, the first person to start the internet posted "hello world" as the first posted message or something like that. So enlightened. I wish it had been something like "ensure you all get net neutrality right you idiots" or something like that.

Well here we are, the Enlightened Bros.

Dustin and I have long talked about turning our brand of humor and insight into publicly-consumable media. So we finally pulled the trigger and did it. And we're sorry we're not sorry.

What's the premise?

We're not the same old idiot bros. Yes, we played lacrosse. Yes we listened to Bon Jovi (not ironically). Yes, we attended several Dave Matthews concerts. But we like to think we're more than just a couple pretty, incredibly macho bros. We have opinions too. And we have voices. And we're going to podcast with those damn voices. And we're going to curse in those podcasts with those damn voices.

Each episode will have an enlightened section and a bro section and then a wild card section. Sometimes, the lines will be blurred.
